Just in case you don’t already know, tomorrow is a fast day: Ta’anit Esther (The fast of Esther). Because Purim falls on motzei Shabbos (Saturday night) and Sunday this year, the fast is pushed forward to the Thursday before.
The fast tomorrow is from sunrise to sunset. Normally, the fast would end after the Megillah reading at the beginning of Purim.

Set your alarm for before sunrise and have a bowl of cereal. This gives you the illusion that you are having a midnight snack, and with a daytime winter fast like this one, unless you live in Alaska, you won't even notice you're not eating.
Citrus fruit juice, which has a lot of salt and potassium, as well as fructose (fruit sugar), is especially restorative before and after a fast.

I recommend against eating before sunrise, as it starts your metabolism for the day and will make you hungrier later. On fast days, I tend to not even be hungry until the last 3ish hours of the fast, when my body is finally realizing that I haven't eaten. I am mostly dehydrated and that's it.
Have an easy fast everyone!

Physiologically, your metabolism is always running, unless you happen to be dead.
