Rivka רִבְקָה is a very common Jewish/Hebrew name in both Israel and the Jewish diaspora. The story of the Biblical Rivka can be found in the book of Bereshit / Genesis, and she is most known as the wife of Yitzhak / Isaac. The meaning of Rivkah is uncertain but probably comes from an earlier and currently unused Semitic root word which means “to join or tie together.”
You might see Rivkah spelled all sorts of ways: Rivka, Rifka, Rifkah, Rebecca, Rebekah, Rebeca, Rebekkah, etc etc etc whatever new spelling someone makes up.
