Jewish Grief, Jewish Growth: Tammuz in 45 Seconds

Tammuz has arrived – and with it, a season of heat, heaviness, and holy heartbreak. The Three Weeks are approaching, inviting us into a time of deep reflection, mourning, and gentle recalibration. This part of the Jewish calendar holds space for the cracks in our world – and in ourselves – that haven’t yet healed.

But we don’t just remember. We respond.

Seasonal Jewish living gives us tools to move through hard times with presence and purpose. This month, I’m focusing on the mitzvah of gentleness – with myself, with others, and with the messy beauty of growth. If you’ve ever felt unmoored during the Jewish year or unsure how to connect when it feels heavy, this post is for you.

Inside Bayit Builders, we’re grounding in the rhythms of Jewish time together – with seasonal planning, check-ins, and supportive tools to help you navigate this sacred cycle. Doors are open for just a few more days to join as a Founding Member and help shape this space.

We just started Tammuz, a hard month in the Jewish calendar. It’s hot, heavy, and full of grief.

We’re heading into the Three Weeks,

starting with a fast day.

Remembering the cracks in our world that still haven’t healed.

But seasonal Jewish living means we don’t just remember,  we respond.

We reflect. We recalibrate.

Maybe this month you can focus on the mitzvah of gentleness.

With yourself, with others, and with your progress, with your growth.

In Bayit Builders, we walk through the Jewish year together, week by week, season by season.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

This month inside by Bayit Builders is seasonal planning, gentle check-ins and Jewish tools to ground you through the heaviness of Tammuz.

Doors are open for only a few more days.  This is your last chance to become a Founding Member and help shape what this turns into.

Come build with us.
