Celebrating 5,000 YouTube subscribers

A few Shabbats ago felt a little sweeter than usual.

Building a Jewish Life passed 5,000 YouTube subscribers, and I wanted to pause and say thank you. Truly.

When I started sharing about Jewish life, conversion, structure, and sustainability, I wasn’t chasing numbers. I was trying to create the kind of guidance I wish had existed when I was building from scratch. Reaching this milestone is not just about growth. It is about knowing these conversations are landing where they are needed.

So yes, there was a celebratory chocolate chip cookie pie involved. Because some moments deserve to be marked.

Shabbat gives us built-in space to notice what is growing slowly and steadily. This feels like one of those moments.

Thank you for being here.

Shabbat Shalom 💙

I’ve got a special treat for this Shabbat.

My YouTube, Building a Jewish Life, has passed 5,000 subscribers! Thank you all so much. And yes, this looks funny because what it is is it is a chocolate chip cookie pie. It is just a very large chocolate chip cookie with fudge around the edge.

I’m really looking forward to it. (Edit: It was delicious!)

So thank you all for giving me a reason to celebrate.  Shabbat Shalom!
