I didn’t set out to build a membership.

I built Bayit Builders so no one else has to go through what I went through—lost, alone, and second-guessing every step.

Years ago, I was trying to convert to Judaism with no roadmap, no mentor, and more questions than answers. I kept looking for someone—anyone—who could tell me I wasn’t crazy for struggling, who could help me figure out the next step without judging me for not knowing what day it was on the Hebrew calendar.

But no one was saying the quiet parts out loud. No one was explaining why the process felt so random, or so lonely, or so… personal and impersonal at the same time.

If you’ve ever sat with your head in your hands, wondering if you’ll ever feel Jewish enough—I’ve been there.

So I took notes. I paid attention. And when I finally made it through—twice, first Conservative and then Orthodox—I realized I couldn’t be the only one who needed support that was honest, clear, and human.
