My membership Bayit Builders closes to new members tonight, and this is your last chance to join until January.
So if you’ve been watching the videos all week, reading the emails, looking at the Bayit and thinking, ” I really should decide whether I’m doing this or not.” Today’s Decision Day.
And I’m not gonna give you a giant sales pitch.
I just wanna tell you the three reasons I think you should consider joining us, and then you can decide.
Number one, join because you’re tired of piecing Jewish life together piece by piece. And without instructions in most cases.
You can find a ton of Jewish information online for free nowadays. Not at all like when I was converting back in the early 2000s.
But the problem is figuring out what matters now and what should I ignore for now?
And who can I ask when I get stuck? ‘Cause you will get stuck.
There’s a lot of instructions out there, but they’re not particularly good instructions sometimes. They can be very vague.
The Bayit isn’t there because you need more Judaism dumped into your brain.
It’s there to help you build a Jewish life with what you’re already learning. It’s to fill in those blanks, and to give you the support and encouragement even when things are hard.
Two, join because Jewish life just keeps happening. It doesn’t stop.
We’re about to go into the High Holidays, a full month of holidays. And then there’s Hanukkah. And then there’s Purim. And then there’s Passover.
The holidays will just keep coming. Shabbat keeps coming every single week.
There is always something to learn, prepare, try, adjust, or figure out.
You don’t need to master the Jewish calendar. You need the advice to move through it.
And that makes right now a great time to join because you can get all that help before the High Holiday marathon.
And three, join because you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
The Bayit gives you a place to bring your questions with no judgment. Your questions aren’t dumb. They’ve been asked by so many people before you.
Sometimes you just need to nerd out with some people who get it because no one else in your life understands why Judaism is so interesting, but these people do.
And you can do things like trade book recommendations. Become study buddies or accountability partners. You can make friends.
And this is the place to go when you’re upset or mad, or things feel like they’re falling apart, because we get it. We know what it’s like, and we can be there to support you.
